Aerospace

QMF’s aerospace division supports complex, high-specification programs with precision manufacturing, integrated production, rigorous inspection and scalable capacity. Extensive in-house capabilities and continued investment in equipment and process technology enable consistent execution across critical aerospace components and assemblies.

Precision Manufacturing for Mission-Critical Aerospace Systems

QMF manufactures a broad range of precision components and assemblies for the aerospace industry, supporting critical systems across commercial and advanced aviation applications. Capabilities include power distribution components, avionics equipment, satellite communications hardware, flight management systems, mechanical chassis for electronics and landing gear parts. QMF also specializes in copper bus bars for electronic distribution—a highly specialized capability offered by relatively few suppliers. Trusted by some of the largest companies in the aerospace industry, QMF supports long-term, multi-year programs that demand consistent quality, precision and dependable manufacturing performance.

Integrated Aerospace Manufacturing

QMF provides vertically integrated aerospace manufacturing capabilities, supporting complex components and assemblies from precision fabrication through to final assembly and finishing. With multiple specialized processes housed within one facility, including an in-house paint department, QMF is able to maintain tight control over quality, tolerances and consistency throughout production. This integrated approach is especially valuable for aerospace programs, where precision, repeatability and reliable execution across every stage of manufacturing are critical.

Precision at Every Level

Stringent internal quality controls are applied across every stage of production, with 100% inspection completed prior to shipment. Inspection extends beyond dimensional and functional requirements to include workmanship standards such as surface condition, edge quality, handling, packaging and documentation. Customer-specific inspection criteria can also be integrated directly into internal processes, allowing final inspection to be completed at source and helping reduce downstream quality risk, rework and non-conformance.

Controlled Finish. Consistent Performance

Cosmetic quality is controlled as closely as dimensional and functional requirements, with particular attention to surface condition, finish consistency, handling and cleanliness throughout production. In-house processes and a highly controlled manufacturing environment help minimize defects that can compromise part integrity under vibration, repeated loading and long-term service conditions. The result is a consistently high standard of finished component quality, with fewer surface imperfections, reduced risk of premature wear and stronger long-term performance.

Capacity for What’s Next

Capacity, capability and responsiveness are built to support demanding aerospace programs and long-term production requirements. QMF welcomes customer capacity audits and has the infrastructure, systems and experience to support some of the industry’s largest manufacturers. Ongoing investment in equipment, technology and process capabilities allows production to grow in step with evolving program requirements, while maintaining the quality, consistency and service expected throughout the life of the program.
