Defence
QMF supports complex defence programs with vertically integrated manufacturing, specialized fabrication and long-term production capabilities. Expertise spans power distribution, stowage and equipment, electronic chassis and enclosures, and communications and information systems, with the capacity to support both new and legacy requirements.

Specialized Processes for Defence Programs
Vertically integrated, in-house capabilities support defence programs to stringent military specifications, including fabrication, aluminum welding, surface preparation, CARC coating, finishing and assembly. By keeping these processes under one roof, QMF maintains tighter control over quality, scheduling and production consistency across complex defence components. Controlled coating and curing are managed within dedicated infrastructure, while experienced welders and specialized equipment support high-tolerance assemblies and repeatable execution throughout the manufacturing process.

Flexible Capacity. Consistent Quality
Defence programs across a wide range of production volumes can be supported with no minimum order requirement. QMF applies the same level of process control, workmanship and inspection whether the need is for a limited-run component or a large-scale production program. This flexibility allows prototype, low-volume and high-volume work to be managed through one manufacturing partner while maintaining consistent quality and execution.

Advanced Fabrication for Defence Applications
QMF’s defence manufacturing capabilities include fibre-optic laser cutting for material up to 1″ thick, precision forming and specialized welding for demanding alloys such as 6061-T6 aluminum. This material is processed regularly in-house, giving the team the experience, equipment and welding expertise required to maintain consistency across complex parts and assemblies. Combined with DFARS-compliant material sourcing, full traceability and controlled documentation, these capabilities help reduce supply-chain risk, simplify qualification and support reliable execution across long-term defence programs.
Supporting Legacy and Ongoing Requirements
Program continuity is supported through QMF’s ability to reproduce parts for repairs, upgrades and ongoing maintenance requirements over extended service lifecycles. Drawings and production records are retained through on-site archives, backup systems and server infrastructure, helping preserve manufacturing data, maintain configuration consistency and support repeatable production when legacy components are required.
